60 yr-old ‘Crocklie’ on rape charge

Micheal Adams, commonly known as ‘Crocklie,’ aged 60, residing at Lot 28 Goedverwagting Housing Scheme, East Coast Demerara, has been apprehended and charged with the offence of Rape under Section 3(3) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03. The arrest occurred on March 7, 2024, and Adams made his appearance at Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #1 before Magistrate R. Liverpool, where he was remanded to prison after the charge was read to him. Adams, not required to plead, awaits further legal proceedings with the matter scheduled for adjournment to March 28, 2024, for statements.
