Shawn Ceasar, a 28-year-old Miner, appeared at the Bartica Magistrate Court today before Magistrate Teriq Mohammed to answer the charge of ‘Rape of a Child under sixteen years’, contrary to Section 10(3) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03.
Ceasar was not required to plead to the charge and was placed on $150,000 bail. The matter was adjourned to 25 October 2024 for continuation
