In line with its mission to oversee and ensure local content development within Guyana’s burgeoning petroleum sector, the Director of the Local Content Secretariat (LCS), Dr. Martin Pertab, along with Secretariat staff, on Friday last conducted a site visit to Halliburton.
According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, during the visit, the LCS team engaged with students from various Technical Institutes currently enrolled in a paid internship program aimed at enhancing the skills of young and talented Guyanese, preparing them for careers in the oil and gas industry, in order to monitor progress.
Additionally, the LCS team, the Ministry said, also visited OMNI, a prominent helicopter services company.
