The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) has received the official results of the elections for its Central Executive Committee (CEC) from Returning Officer Vincent Alexander. The elections, which took place on June 30, 2024, determined the leadership positions within the Party, including the Leader, Chairperson, two Vice-Chairpersons, and Treasurer, with results announced on the same evening.
The elected fifteen CEC members are as follows:
Nima Flue-Bess, MP
Mervyn Williams
Ganesh Mahipaul, MP
Coretta McDonald, MP
Robin Simon
Riaz Rupnarain
Anil Sugrim, Town Councilor, Corriverton
Joan Ann Ramascindo
Sherwood Lowe
Troy Garraway, Chief Councilor, Georgetown
Kemal Kissoon
Marcia Gordon, NDC Councillor, Enmore
Wainwright McIntosh, Mayor of New Amsterdam
Deron Adams, Regional Chairman RDC #10

The PNCR emphasizes that the newly elected CEC embodies the nation’s diversity in terms of ethnicity, gender, age, and regional representation. Notably, one-third of the committee members are women, and various regions, including regions 3, 4, 6, 7, and 10, are represented. Among the elected members, four are Members of Parliament, and several others hold positions as councilors at the RDC, municipal, and NDC levels.
In a statement, the Party praised the fairness and transparency of the election process, acknowledging the commitment and participation of its members. The PNCR urged all members and supporters to focus on the central goal of the recently concluded Biennial Delegates Congress: “Forming the next government: building a just, inclusive, and prosperous society for all.”
The Party’s constitution allows the Leader and elected CEC members to co-opt an additional ten members to the committee, a process that will be undertaken promptly.
