Sol Guyana Inc. has officially introduced Mobil™ fuels to the local market, offering drivers in Guyana access to Mobil Synergy Extra™ and Mobil Synergy Supreme+™ technologies.
These advanced fuel formulas are designed to protect vehicle engines by cleaning and maintaining inlet valves and injectors, while also improving fuel efficiency and overall performance.The launch event, held at the Guyana Marriott on 10th October, came a day after a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the newly branded Mandela service station, one of the first two Mobil™ service stations in Guyana.
This marks the beginning of a significant partnership between Sol and ExxonMobil, following an agreement that allows Sol’s network of 11 service stations across Guyana to be rebranded as Mobil™ outlets, all offering Mobil Synergy Fuel Technology.
Senior representatives from The Sol Group and ExxonMobil, alongside Mobil™ retailers, media, and invited guests, were present at the launch. Earl Carribon, General Manager of Sol Guyana Inc., highlighted the importance of this milestone, noting that ExxonMobil, a global leader in energy and petrochemical solutions with over 130 years of history, continuously strives to meet society’s evolving needs.
Carribon emphasised that introducing Mobil™ fuels to the Guyanese market represents a significant business achievement for Sol and a major benefit for local consumers, who will now have access to fuels that are already well-regarded in other Caribbean markets.Nicolas Lleras, Fuels Sales Manager at ExxonMobil, also spoke at the event, explaining that Mobil Synergy™ fuels are engineered to enhance efficiency and maximise fuel usage.
“ExxonMobil’s global innovation and technology are now at the service of consumers in Guyana,” Lleras remarked, adding that the company’s extensive research and development efforts have been incorporated into the advanced Mobil Synergy™ fuels now available in the country.
Carribon reiterated Sol Guyana’s commitment to delivering high-quality products, expressing excitement about the opportunity to partner with local retailers to position the Mobil™ brand as a market leader in Guyana. He noted that the introduction of Mobil™ fuels would benefit not only Sol’s customers and partners but also contribute to the country’s broader economic development.
