West-Dem man charged with Murder

A 47-year-old driver from Lust-en-Rust, West Bank Demerara, has been formally charged with the murder of a local welder. Orden Griffith was arrested following the fatal incident involving 23-year-old Ali Mark Augustine, also of Lust-en-Rust, which took place on Saturday, August 31, 2024.Griffith appeared before Magistrate Rhondel Weever at the Wales Magistrate’s Court, where the indictable charge was read. He was not required to enter a plea and was subsequently remanded to prison.The case has been adjourned until October 4, 2024.
